Elitza Stoilova, Umni
Founder and CEO

Elitza Stoilova (Elly) is the Founder and the CEO of Umni, a Bulgarian startup and a graduate of the Silicon Valley accelerator The Founder Institute. Umni automates the hotel communication with travelers by using bots helping hotels decrease expenses, optimize staff work and increase guest satisfaction.
Elitza is also the CEO of Mei Travel, a new project promoting Bulgaria to the Chinese travel market. Mei Travel is working on specialized programs to attract and help Chinese tourists explore and experience Bulgaria as a unique European destination.
Elitza has over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, mostly in the fields of Sales and Digital Marketing, as well as 5 years on the position of a General Manager. She built her career and expertise in hospitality in the Pacific Region, on Mariana islands (CNMI, an US Island territory in Pacific Ocean). Elitza has successfully created, developed and implemented hotel programs and strategies in marketing and operations, lead destination marketing development and has been in charge of a resort opening in 2014. She has also property management experience. Elitza is known for looking for innovative approaches to problem solving.
For 10 years, Elitza has been the Russian Market AdHoc Committee Chairwoman and Member at the Marianas Visitors Authority (MVA), the CNMI Tourism Authority.
For her expertise and successful efforts in the hospitality at the Mariana islands, Elitza received two Government awards. She was honored in 2009 at the first ever Tourism Industry Excellence Awards presentation by MVA, for being instrumental in developing new markets for the destination wide over the years 2003-2010. In December 2016, Elitza was awarded a Plaque of Recognition by MVA for overall Outstanding contribution to the tourism industry of the Mariana islands.
Elitza has Bachelor Degree in Science of Communications and various certificates in Hospitality Sales & Marketing, and Hotel Operations from AHLA EI, as well as in Digital Marketing from SoftUni.
She is member of American Hotels & Lodging Association (AHLA).
